I turned Manchester Road into a lake! hahahaha well its my first try making a fake lake look real, so hopefully it looks ok. looks great to me but i've been staring at it & editing....ya know how that goes ;)

and yeah, thats really the sky one morning a while back......the pic was taken through my car front windshield as i was driving to work tho, so its not as clear as i would like :(

wow. i actually like the sky the way it is. very dramatic :D. and not bad for a first attempt at water/lakeness. lol i have no idea who to edit photo's or anything so i can't give yah any advice, sorry

i like it.. but the only problem i have with it is the ripples in the water..
the wripples say the shot was taken almost right agesnst the water.. but the tree tells you it is from a higher point.. .. so i guess the wripples are too big.
maybe if they were smaller? or more calm...
lol

what were you using to create that effect?
it looks kinda like some liquid metal.. maybe more believable if the ripples were smaller..

lol its a program that generates water.....but yeah its a little tricky to make it look real. i personally think it looks like a lake of mercury.

yep, thats the bit i had trouble with. too few ripples, it ends up looking like glass or a mirror...too many and it ends up looking like a giant thermometer broke :D
